I only want a little snow at Christmas time. Chances are next to impossible for us, but I can drive 3 hours into the Sierra Nv. Mtn (7,000-12,000 ft elevation) and enjoy it for a few days.
I know you guys enjoy it, but I wouldn't want to have to use snow blowers and shovel snow for months. I'm too lazy I guess

You are correct. Even hardcore winter folk don't like it lasting through April. No accumulation to speak of but it burns another spring day off the calendar when it could be sunny and 65-70deg.

Oregon weather would be depressing to me. Too many cloudy days.

Today it was 72, sunny, no wind, perfect, and I saw someone on a walk with a down jacket, gloves and sock hat like she was walking in a snow storm. . Couldn't believe it.
This weekend mid 80s
