2/3 the way through Spring and I had to wear socks to bed again the last couple of nights. Though it's easier to warm up than cool down.

I love our changing seasons! It is dark, dreary here. We have entered into the long gray season where we will be mostly cloudy the rest of fall into winter and early spring. Sunny days, when they occur, will be ones where we have to scramble to find sunglasses to shade our eyes from the glare.

Low to mid 80s for possibly the next 2 weeks here where I live. Sunny everyday. I was hoping for 70s but they changed are forecast. As long as there are no fires.
Some of my relatives are on their way to Palm Springs for the winter. They live way up in the northwest. They're in for some hot days ahead.

We are thawing from a bad ice storm. We were without power for 35.5 hours.

Wow. I presume you have fuel heaters?

I've watched you folks getting hit down there. Dangerous conditions.
We are forecasted for accumulating snow this Sunday. Today, another cloudy random rainy day and 42deg.

We are total electric so we had to tough it out. We at one fast food meal each day and then snacked for the rest. We just piled on the winter outer wear and the blankets. On Tuesday night we crawled into our sleeping blankets and just slept for 12 hours. That was toasty! It got down to 47degrees inside the house. Our son-in law was able to find a generator, so they had heat.

Thankfully, central Ok doesn't get ice storms like this very often. Southeastern Ok almost always has ice storms rather than snow. There was significant tree damage in our area.
