Woke up to a balmy 65, still quite hazy from smoke. We may have frost tonight.
Oh and it's not as damp as Pensacola right now.

It went down to 39 degrees last night, they now have a frost advisory issued for tonight. It's too soon, I really don't want to lose my flowers yet.

We've had 3 frosts already so gardens are done. We're getting a LOT of smoke from the fires in the western US states and we're a LONG way from Oregon.
The weather is pleasant, getting up in the high 60s, low70s during the day and not too cold at night...
Farmers are going like crazy to get their crops off and compared to the awful wet fall we had last year, this is awesome.
It's September on the prairies.

Here's a fire map. I tried to scribble a green dot for the area I live. The smoke is so thick I can barely see the horizon.

Wow...is that normal? When do you usually get your first frost?

We have had areas of frost across our area Sat/Sun nights. Here in town, next to the big lake, we stayed "warm" at 35deg.
Last night low was 54. Today it will be another sunny day and 75. Gorgeous.
