Had a few days of 70's, just a sprinkle of rain but now heading back into the 90deg range. We run the a/c in the middle of the day to keep the house in the low 70's.

We are getting hammered up here:
Here is the result: I heard a loud crack and thump. I called my neighbor and texted him a pic saying he had an angel guarding his new Sierra. I'll be out there with chainsaw and tug strap with my truck in a little while:

We had another wave blow through yesterday near dinner time that drew a Tornado Warning from witnesses seeing a rotational cloud. Trees were blown down and uprooted all over the place. Chainsaw sales will have quite an increase.
This morning about 5am we had another wave come through with high winds, lightning and flooding rains putting out power in several locations. We had a rough day. We have friends reporting trees on houses, cars pinned to the drive, but all are safe. Though the shock of the sudden violence was short, we are well and cleaning up.
Temp at midnight was 82deg!

For the most part we've still been stuck in the 90s but had a large storm system blow through a little while ago bringing some needed rain. It lessened in intensity some when it hit the heart of Metro Detroit but just to the west there are a lot of power outages.
... and our midnight temp was a humid 84° last night.

Raining off and on from Hanna. Not raining this morning. Still high rain chances possible up until Thursday around here.
