Will the Supreme Court Vote to Destroy Itself?

Here's the end game on the election battle.

If Biden were to be fraudulently seated it would give legitimacy to the Georgia election process that will very shortly be deciding the balance of power in the Senate which would lead to a dismantling of the Supreme Court via the Biden/Dem controlled Senate and their agenda to flood the court with more justices in order to usurp its originally intended purpose.

So while many see this as Trump vs. Biden, this is really about Leftists vs. the Supreme Court. Leftists will lose, no matter what, the Supreme Court will not vote to render itself moot. Trump will win the election.

    Interesting take.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Roberts will probably play the "I want to be seen as fair and objective arbiter" card and vote for Biden to win, even if it means longterm destruction of the Court. Kavanaugh has sided with Planned Parenthood before, Gorsuch has sided with LGBT before, so they aren't exactly staunch conservatives either.

I could easily see a 6-3 ruling against Trump, with only Alito, Thomas and Barrett voting in favor of Trump.

As hopeful as you are as to that scenario, you are under estimating the power of self preservation. The likelihood of any of those justices voting to render themselves moot is zero.

This is not a "party line" vote, this is a "We will maintain our power" vote.

The end game is that Trump wins but it has nothing to do with Trump or party.

Would they vote to preserve the Supreme Court as it is now or is it enough to preserve their own individual positions, which aren't threatened ?

If they allow a fraudulent result in GA, they are essentially destroying the Supreme Court.

    That ain't gonna happen.

In all likelihood, in order to maintain good optics, they will bounce the final decision back to the states, which is a Trump win.

It's happened twice before. Thomas Jefferson and Quincy Adams.

It plays out one state, one vote.

A candidate must receive an absolute majority of electoral votes (currently 270) to win the presidency or the vice presidency. If no candidate receives a majority in the election for president or vice president, that election is determined via a contingency procedure established by the 12th Amendment.
    Contingent election - Wikipedia.

Each state delegation in the House gets a single vote. As of now, Republicans control 26 of the 50 state delegations, while Democrats have 22; one is split evenly and another has seven Democrats, six Republicans and a Libertarian.

I am not so certain anymore that a House vote necessarily produces a Trump win. In some cases, a state delegation consists of only 1 person. In Wyoming, that's Liz Cheney. Do we really trust that Cheney won't side with the Democrats and Biden? If she did, that could produce a 25-25 tie, which would then lead to President Pelosi.
