For those of us who have caught the COVID bug, let's hope we now will build immunities.
My wife and I are returning to church this sunday after 2 weeks of recovery. Technically we had the all clear on paper (return to work papers from health dept), yet we stayed home because people are incredibly jumpy over this. Told my pastor it would be better to stay home so to not distract others. This would be like standing in the express lane and counting items in someone's cart. I could seriously see people counting the days.
This is a modern leprosy.

You are right, modern day leprosy. It's very sad to me. I am still me.

This is true about covid being modern day leprosy. We never quarantined like this for the flu. Of course, two years ago even we didn't have grocery delivery service, so if you wanted to eat, you went to the grocery store. My isolation ends Dec 1st!

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
This study is pointing out the obvious, that our immune systems actually work, exposure to viruses produces an immune response that provides protection against future infection.
Covid-19 patients still have cellular immunity against the coronavirus six months after infection, encouraging study shows
A group of more than 2,000 people working for PHE volunteered for the study
100 people tested positive, 56 had symptoms, and none were hospitalised
All infected participants had a detectable T cell response six months later
Findings may mean people who have had Covid-19 are less likely to be reinfected
Covid immunity lasts as least six months after infection, study says | Daily Mail Online

I have heard of folks who got it twice within that 6 month period. I wonder how that is figured.

This could be due to false positives maybe?

If our bodies natural antibodies wear off in 6mos (I heard 3) how could anyone expect a vaccine to produce that in the same manner? I mean, that is how vaccines work.
But then, this is probably not your regular run of the mill vaccine. Especially when it took months to prepare...almost like they already had it put aside.

There are 3 vaccines being touted. One of them is "traditional", the other two are untested mRNA vaccines that don't work the same way traditional vaccines work.
My red flag is that all 3 vaccines are based on a virus profile supplied by the Chinese Communist Party, so at the root something is sketchy. I mean, okay, I'll buy a Chinese toaster and toss it two years later but not so sure I want a Chinese blueprinted vaccine. Actually, I am sure, I won't be doing that.

It took TWO whole days!
Covid-19 vaccine maker Moderna designed its vaccine against the novel coronavirus in just
two days.
On Jan. 11,
Chinese authorities shared the genetic sequence of the novel coronavirus, according to Moderna's website.
Two days later, on Jan. 13, the National Institutes of Health and Moderna's infectious disease research team finalized the sequence for mRNA-1273, the formal name of the company's Covid-19 vaccine.
Moderna'''s Covid-19 vaccine was designed in just two days

In 2 days. Well now. Tell me that this was not planned some years back.

The mRNA technology has been around for some time but never approved for anything so I guess this it.
Here's something else though, if the mRNA tech actually works it's a whole new health care ball game, it would open the door to vaccines against cancers and many other diseases. We'll see how the experiment works out.
