Obama is a handy scapegoat but it is a two party game, they are all at war with us.

Many times, though not all, there as a common goal, but there was seen different paths to achieve that goal. The modern progressive/liberal, which most of our higher democrat leaders are, is much different than the old. They speak in a way that makes it look as if they want the same good thing as most people do, but they don't. Their goal is entirely different.

Much of it can be seen in the redefinition of terms.

Racism: the term has an entirely different meaning than it had 40 years ago. It actually had to do with race back then. For the most part now it refers to a culture or subculture, including religion. It is a term bantered about to achieve one's goals by instilling fear into others.

"Income inequality" has replaced helping the poor. It is based on coveting and envy. Does it matter if some have a lot more than others, or does it matter if all have enough? Income equality is a grab at wealth and a means to punish.

Community, family, marriage have been redefined.

"Global" versus "National" interests. 20 years ago the liberal would yell "foul", it isn't in our national interest. Now our businesses, our daily lives are being governed by fictitious
global concerns such as global warming. It is power grab and a wealth grab and nothing more.

Listening to speeches given today by the progressive/liberal/statist you will see these over and over again. New definitions seem to be added monthly. Have you ever wondered why they don't use the phrases others do? Why they refuse to use certain terms? It is to redirect the conversation and change the language. It is to fundamentally change how people think.
    Good post.

In the OT when God wiped out entire nations to protect Israel... He considered it self defense because He was in Covenant with them.

It is self defense of your family... and why not do what General Patton spoke of?
Choose to live and make the other you-know-what die for his cause!

If you choose to live... God is well able to protect you, but if you leave the possibility open that you will die in a deadly situation then you most likely will so get a big fat life insurance policy so your family will be taken care of.

According to your faith, it will be done unto you.

It is not "Obama vs. Us", it is "the powerful dominating the weak".

It has been this way since the origin of civilization. Jesus opposed this culture of domination, and so should we.

Apart from the populistic use or abuse of the term.

Income equality is a communistic concept and will only work under absolutist state communism where there is no freedom at all.

Income inequality is an extremely broad concept covering anything from imperfect communism to a society where one rich man owns everything and everyone, meaning he has all the income.

Increasing income inequality is a direction and depending on what the starting point is, the result may amount to a positive or a negative.

At the beginning of the golden age of Republicanism at the time of Reagan or a decade before, income inequality in the US was at a reasonable level. Since then it has increased steadily and it has gone from reasonable to high, arguably bordering on epidemic by now. Opinions on where it should stop increasing may differ but everyone agrees that it should stop short of the worst case scenario described above. And even if people think that there is no cause for concern now or in the near future, the fact remains that rampantly increasing income inequality and with no hope for the future because there is no will to do anything about it actually breeds socialist or even marxist votes. The income inequality doesnt matter purist could be right, who knows, but more and more people will disagree with him as they all watch the result of his policy of ignoring the matter. The result is Obama. And possibly a democrat or liberal rule indefinitely. Or a compromise on other Republican values in order to stand a chance of getting back. One reaps what one sows.

Russia was a feudal society with an extremely rich czar at the top and various levels of feudal lords beneath and dirt poor peasants supporting them all at the bottom, the next thing that happens is a Communist revolution. Then Lenin was the de facto czar.

The best thing we can do for our nation is to fulfill the great commission. We need to be healing the sick, casting out devils and preaching the gospel. If we were actively doing this, how many votes would be different? And if there were suddenly many converted politicians who were now living for Christ instead of themselves or their party, what would that do?

Jesus is the one and only Answer!!!
