    I was a real fan of his guitar playing. Most people don't know how great a guitar player he was. He was a member of the Wrecking Crew back in the early 60s that was a group of well known studio musicians that played on everybody's records back then. From the Monkees to The Byrds to Frank Sinatra to the Mamas and the Papas to the Beach Boys, etc. He also played bass with the Beach Boys on a tour where Brian Wilson couldn't make it.

    That video you posted if you can find the whole concert is good. There was a film made on his last days with Alzheimer that's a real tear jerker. It's probably on Youtube. I think it's called "I'm not gonna miss you" which is a song he wrote related to him losing his memory from Alzheimer.
