Herman Cain dies at 74 from coronavirus
Herman Cain, the former Republican presidential candidate and affable business magnate, died Thursday after being hospitalized for coronavirus.
Cain, 74, first went to an Atlanta hospital for treatment on July 1, his staff had said.
His death was announced on Herman Cain's website and Facebook page.
"Herman Cain – our boss, our friend, like a father to so many of us – has passed away," the statement on his website said, noting there were "hopeful indicators" in recent days that he'd recover but adding: "And yet we also felt real concern about the fact that he never quite seemed to get to the point where the doctors could advance him to the recovery phase."
Newsmax, which Cain recently joined, also posted an obituary confirming he died Thursday...

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
A good guy, I enjoyed listening to him.

I supported this guy vigorously when he was running for president. He was gaining on President Obama in the poles and seemed likely to defeat him. Sadly, the political game is anything but fair. His opponents did a serious hack job on him finding a bunch of lying women who accused him of sexual improprieties. They all disappeared when he finally dropped out.

I supported him as well. He is a classic example of what can be accomplished in America, no matter what station in life you were born into. What a wonderful testimony & legacy he left.
