It is widely accepted within current charismatic circles that New Testament prophets (in this case prophetess) can err and are not subject to the tests given in Deuteronomy 13 and 18. Thus the failure of a prophetic word does not disqualify the speaker as a true prophet of God. Of coarse, this belief that a true prophet of God can give errant prophecies is a serious problem. With that, it is my opinion that the speaker in "Oz's" video is a false prophet and a charlatan, much less a true prophet. Her words are a fabrication from her own carnal reasoning combined with what she's heard others say. In conclusion, despite the popularity of the theory that a prophet of God can "miss it" and remain a true prophet of God, can't be found in Scripture.
There is an immediacy to the prophetic word that is to protect it from being corrupted by the prophet himself. According Deuteronomy 18, a prophet who gives a prophetic word that fails to come to pass is a false prophet. Period! Leaders within charismatic ministries that allow words from fallible prophets place a stumbling block in the way of those seeking to be obedient to the voice of the Lord. It is critical that we follow the biblical admonition to test the prophets.
