Atlanta's interim police chief Rodney Bryant revealed officers continued their 'sick-out' on Thursday night
Bryant said some officers 'may feel abandoned' and 'angry' over the increased scrutiny of the department
Bryant was appointed interim chief after Erika Shields resigned last week when Rayshard Brooks, 27, was shot dead
Brooks was killed last Friday after Officer Garrett Rolfe, 27, shot him twice in the back
Authorities said Brooks was intoxicated and fell asleep in his vehicle at local Wendy's drive-thru
Brooks reportedly tried to take Rolfe's Taser during a struggle
Rolfe has been charged with 11 counts, including murder, and could potentially be sentenced to death
