I'm not familiar with the Asian cheating, but nothing surprises me anymore. I also didn't know general cheating was so widespread.

The documented proof relates specifically to Chinese nationals. It is also a phenomena that is well known in academia and science, many science journals simply reject all research and academic papers from Chinese authors as fraudulent, the fraud is so overwhelming that it is not not even worth the time to properly vet them.

I don't know if it is widespread throughout the Asian community.

    >> major overhaul.

That is what the so-called BLM is calling for. The policies of "disciplining Black children is racist" has morphed into society as a whole. Things like all cops are racist, Blacks are over policed, defund the police are all extensions of policies that were implemented in public schools. Now of course those little kiddies are all grown up kiddies sowing the same behaviors that should have never been tolerated. Demanding a pass to break laws and infringe on the rights of others without consequence.

I have access to scientific journals, so I decided to see if there were any Asian articles written recently and published by those same scientific journals.....and I found that there were over 100,000. I'm not sure where you're getting your info.

    They'll probably be retracted.

    Again.. Chinese..NOT Asian.

But in its rush to dominance, China has stood out in another, less boastful way. Since 2012, the country has retracted more scientific papers because of faked peer reviews than all other countries and territories put together, according to Retraction Watch, a blog that tracks and seeks to publicize retractions of research papers

    one more :)

When the cancer research journal Tumor Biology retracted 107 papers last year, a dubious new world record was set — and the world's scientists took notice.

Largely because all 107 papers were penned by Chinese researchers.

"The fact they were all from one journal was eye opening", Ivan Oransky, who co-founded Retraction Watch, a publication that investigates scientific misconduct, said.

"The journal rocketed to the top of the charts in terms of how many retractions it had. It also lost a lot of credibility ... and ended up being dumped by its publisher."

But it wasn't a first for the journal, now published by Sage. In 2016, it retracted 25 papers because of similar doubts over their integrity.

The incidents expose a deeper, darker problem for science globally.

A growing black market is peddling fake research papers, fake peer reviews, and even entirely fake research results to anyone who will pay.

So what exactly are you proposing ? Busing ?

From what you have posted so far I would think the major culprit is discipline which the education system can't fix . Only rebuilding the black family can fix . No ?

And take a generation to fix. This is nation and culture wide. WE are in trouble. Only the return of Christ will straighten this out. In the meantime, only a love for teaching kids will keep it going.

There it is! The absence of fathers and functional family units has caused the decay of education. Doesn't matter what color the family is either. When we break away from God's design we pay a high price.

I have been praying for revival in the churches and an awakening in the nation. The second can't happen until the first does. The lazy bride must be awakened. Time to trim their lamps and get about the Father's business.

All these woes that we see in America boil down to the church neglecting her responsibilities for over a century. What would America look like IF we had been making disciples all these years?

There is only one answer to this whole mess, and His name is Jesus!

I volunteered in the "resource (special ed) room", 2 hours on 2 days, reading with special ed kids, 4 students for 1/2 hour. I saw what it was like when I went in the classroom to get my student what it was like. I so disagree with what I saw going on. Kids getting up walking around, a group of kids on small lap tops, the teacher sitting on the floor with some students, kids just talking and not doing anything, a kid who was not in any of the 4 rooms I went into escaped and was screaming running down the hall, being chased by the principle and a few aids, he also ran through our room, when he was caught and taken to special room for containment, and the next time I saw the classroom he was in, there was a aid in the classroom against the door and a aid outside the door leaning on it as well, the doors have a window in them. I saw so much more, no way would I ever be a teacher due to the various issues I saw with kids in the classrooms in the k-6th grade school I was at. My grandson attended there and was in the resource room.

The main spec ed teacher retired at the end of that year. She told me that she can not do it anymore due to the school district changes and they are always on the end of the budget and they were just cut again. The teachers I got to know and we would talk were told to only tell parts of truth in reference to things going on in the school. They would get into trouble if they told all taking place. They disagreed with lots but they could not do a thing about it or they would be in trouble. I was friends with someone who worked in the office, we would go in the janitors closet area to eat lunch because of the teachers who were snitches. The teachers who were Christian and met to pray before school were chastised in ways by teachers who were not believers even though they had the right to meet and pray. So much behind closed doors in what actually goes on in schools.

The amounts of different skin colors as well as nationalities was there. I went to a grade school performance at a school I had not been to. Some kids I know went attended there. I was so surprised when the kids all entered the gym. The different nationalities of kids that went to that school as well as skin colors. I had no idea at all. I drove around that neighborhood after I left to see what it really was like because just driving on a few main roads through there does not show the reality of the conditions of the homes, duplexes as well as the different nationalities of people who live in that area. I had no idea about all I saw, looked like some pictures of third world places in a way.

It is the school district that divides the area for who goes where to school here. You can apply to have your child go to a certain school as well as those who use someone's address to get their child into a different school.

This is not just a black or white skin issue in schools here. The grade school my grandsons and gr niece and nephew went to one year was a eye opener to me again. I have been involved in that school for year since my 2 gr sons went there and I was involved in helping take care of them One year a new family moved into the area. They were from I think Ethiopia. They spoke no English so the 5 kids each had interrupter with them during the day. I was leaving school after it had started, so was their dad. I was walking ahead of him on the way to my car thinking about what I needed to do as usual. He sped up and got directly in front of me walking the same direction. I was not going to be treated like he did to his wife who wore Muslim attire, a head covering but not covering her hair or face totally, and never in black but pastels, anyway, I moved over and walked faster and got in front of him and walked to my car. He did not do that to me again as I saw him often, but he was suddenly polite to me. At the end of the school year I gave my gr niece a ride home and I asked her about the "new" kids. She told me they were really mean. All the kids tried to play with them, be nice to them but they were not nice at all no matter how hard anyone tried to help them.

I do not know about where you live, but here, what goes on in schools, knowing teachers, something needs to be done but I think it is to late. When Common Core came in via Bill Gates, it is not a standard, it is a agenda if you take the time to really dig deeply into it and not accept just what you are told, then add on to that the good and bad reputations of schools where ever you live, based on the different black and white skin colors, but the different nationalities of kids who have moved here, a huge mess. The attitudes, the languages, the different customs, the different foods..... teachers have so much to deal with. The amount of grade school kids who have "issues" now, I did not see that when my kids were in grade school. I did get involved as well as knew teachers. It has changed and people have no clue. I feel sorry for the teachers who love kids, want to teach and help them learn and grow. The ones I know are getting burned out and not sure if they will stay teaching. They have been teachers for along time but the way things have changed and become now, they aren't sure anymore. The teachers have their hands tied in ways due to Obama's PROMISE which deals with discipline. Look it up.

I also have been involved with some little girls, picking them up from Headstart, watching them until their parents get off work. This past year, no way would I put a child into Headstart. It is a government totally funded "program" that intends to raise kids from 6 months up. They bought a building here and they sound so great, starts at 6 months. They also use at least here Conscious Discipline, a look it up yourself. In the morning I would drop the girls off, go in to check them in and a teaches kneels down and smiles at them, "hi friend, how are you today, what kind of greeting would you like to choose today?" The child picks a car and that is the hi they get. You would just have to be there to understand it. They were also teaching them yoga and the girls mom had no idea until I told them the girls sat on the floor, crossed their legs, put their arms out and did the finger thing and the mmmmmm etc. I asked them where they learned that, at school and proceeded to show me more moves. So not only conscious discipline mind games but yoga. There is more.

The agenda intertwined now at least here in WA, people need to wake up. Again, I feel sorry for the teachers. They are blamed but they are not the ones in charge making the rules and such.......
