This is why I think those cops will walk:

George Floyd May Have Died from "Excited Delirium"
I posted a video of Ben Shapiro about the 'religion of wokeness' where around the 8:18 mark he discusses the case and what the policeman was charged with and how the charges have been upgraded. He is saying he could possibly be acquitted because they could overcharge him, and can't prove that charge. As an example he used George Zimmerman where they charged him with murder and he got off because the prosecution couldn't prove it, where if they'd just charged him with manslaughter he may be sitting in jail now. But they are being pressured by media, social media, etc, so they may end up overcharging him because they're trying to prove by the uncharge that they take it more serious, which is not how it's supposed to work. He is saying that 3rd degree is really the more relevant charge than 2nd degree murder, which you have to prove intent to murder as opposed to it being an accident and a blatant disregard for life in what you did.

Also charging the others with aiding and abetting might not really apply because they were just standing there and not helping someone who predetermined to murder someone. But he brought up what I did about if any are acquitted what will ensue. And of course now the justice system is racist again because they weren't convicted when it's basically they overcharged and can't prove it under the legal definitions of those charges.

Yes, over charging can backfire. The bigger picture is that we are experiencing "strong delusions". The media paints pictures out of context, creates narratives out of thin air and boom, the world goes nuts.

Remember the Ferguson riots? They didn't even charge the cop. One would think that he would be under the jail by now but as it turns out, he did nothing wrong. That doesn't stop the media, they still continue to harp on "Ferguson" as if a crime occurred there, they keep the false narrative alive. The same thing is happening here, these cops are already convicted by the mob, a virtual lynching but when things calm down a bit I think we will see that this is another fabrication.

I've been very critical of what I think has been the militarization of our police, the notion that citizens are treated like combatants or enemies, that has to stop but something far more dangerous is mob justice. We'll see soon enough how this plays out but I do think that there is a very good chance that the cops will walk.
