A lot of teaching and preaching is not edifying. A Godly teacher tells people what they need to hear, not what they want to hear, and prophesy can be false. But I think I get the jist.

As one man's edification is another man's ..... a natural consequence of this would be to put things in the "so called" edification section so that people can't challenge them. It could end up like the Oscars and other awards where people of like minds sit around and tell each other how good they all are.
So would it be valid to copy a post from the edification section to here so it could be debated? Or even just link to it.
The idea is good John, but we're dealing with people so evil God had to send His Son to the Cross to save them.

99% of threads are open to debates and you complain about the one that wants to keep debate out
There are plenty of ways to initiate debate about topics which you have done previously and nothing is changing about that
