43, soon to be 44 years married and dated for 6 before that.
Wow! That's awesome Sharie! Happy Anniversary!

Great advice! We were in relationship over 30 years ago. It didn't work out, so we went our separate ways, but we kept in touch & remained friends, because we genuinely like one another, and communicate well, so that was never an issue with us.

I think the gender differences between men & women that pops up from time to time may be the only thing. For instance, he LOVES most sports, but I only like basketball, baseball & boxing. lol

Maybe I'll do a lot of shopping when Football returns.

That's good advice. My husband is alpha male, grew up in the roughest part of Detroit, worked in jobs that are traditionally held by men, and he can be a little gruff. But, I have to admit, I need that sometimes.

And after 30 yrs on my job, and being independent for so long, I can be as well. We both recognize it, so we usually catch ourselves, and laugh about it later. I'm a little slower though. Still a little sensitive at times. lol

Wow! Happy Anniversary! That's wonderful Curly!

What attracted us to one another is that we are so much alike. From the time after we got together 30+ years ago, he's always said I'm the female version of him, and vice versa. We basically like the same things, there's only a few differences that's normal between males & females.
