Even that small increase they give on the first of the year is nice. Takes care of gas for both our SUV's for two weeks. Haha

Thanks sis! I'm still adjusting. But I'm doing better than I expected. It's God's GRACE, and I know it! I cook now more than I've ever cooked before, especially since we're on lockdown.
I am also getting up very early in the morning to get him off to work, that was a BIG challenge in the beginning, but I'm almost there. LOL!
It's a good thing he's not fussy about breakfast; he's a huge cereal lover, and coffee drinker, so some days that's what he gets! Some days, I pack him a lunch, but not everyday, YET! Hahaha!
All in all, I am enjoying married life, and I'm grateful for all God is going in our lives. Thank you all for the well wishes, and your encouragement.
P.S. From time to time, I'll be asking advice from you long term married folk. So be ready!

Happy Birthdays Mr & Mrs Valiant!
Thank you Krystian!
It doesn't increase by that much, that's why I went ahead and got mine.

LOL - We celebrate our 33rd Anniversary next month, so don't hesitate to ask, Sis.
After being single for so many years, it was quite an adjustment, indeed.

The biggest piece of advice I ever give to anyone about married life is to just remember to be kind to each other.
Not very profound, but can make all the difference in the world some days.
43, soon to be 44 years married and dated for 6 before that.

Congrats VW
Good advice AJ - Kindness in marriage is very important. It's one of things I use to analyse my relationship with my wife.
At times I fail but I keep it as a reminder to myself

Be kind. Do be so sensitive about thing that you should be sensitive about and getting your feeling hurt easily. Be quick to apoligize. Both my wife and I are pretty easy going and it makes for a very strife-free marriage. I couldn't tell you the last time we had an actual 'fight'.

Lots of wise words! We are coming up on 46 years in May. Actual fights are almost non existent at our house as well. We are so much alike I'm amazed how often we are thinking the exact same thing.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Just do what you're told and everything will work out.
Congrats, wishing you the best!
