Our son and his lady have been together for almost 11 years and have had multiple miscarriages and had decided they'd likely never have kids. The pregnancy has been a disaster. She's been SOOOO sick... all the way to gestational diabetes.

Her mom was diagnosed with cancer Dec.24 and passed away Feb29... So their lives have been totally upside down. She has no siblings and her dad passed from cancer 2-3 years ago. The only blessing is that her mom went quickly and didn't have to linger alone in C19 isolation.

So praying this little guy brings joy into their lives. I know I can't replace her own mom, but I sure want to be there for her if she needs me.

Jayden Joseph was born at about 9:30am MDT, 7LB 11oz, not bad for a baby delivered 2 weeks early! His due date was May 5 but they do CSections early in cases like hers where the surgical intervention is necessary.

Mom and baby are both well and Daddy is over the moon happy.

Actually, Jayden in Hebrew might be a nicer name than you think. Ja is God and din is advocate. And that is how we would understand it. God is my advocate.
As for getting out and around. I am in Karmi'el at my home for the first time in a couple months. I have been housebound in Jerusalem since I am over 65 and a diabetic. They changed the rules a couple days ago and I am now allowed to travel around the country. Taking proper precautions, of course. When out and around we are required to wear a face mask and I carry a couple pair of disposable gloves for pumping gas or handling something I can't wash. Of course there is a small bottle of hand sanitizer in my pocket too. But still, I drove across the country from Jerusalem to Karmi'el today for the first time in months.

Went to Walmart this morning. They had plenty of toilet paper. Kroger never has any when we get groceries. :)
