No, I still can't support him. Once again, I'll vote third party. I'll only vote for Trump if the election is close. Trump is dishonest. He spins his excuses to his advantage. He bullies. He's a name-caller. He's not a good man. As for his being a "baby Christian" as James Dobson reported in 2016, I'd counter: isn't it time this baby Christian showed some signs of maturity? His words at the prayer breakfast were totally inappropriate.
Oh, I don't doubt God elevated him to the presidency. But I fear it's more likely to be a foreshadowing of God's judgment for our many national sins. I appreciate his appointment of conservative justices, but that's about all. If another conservative could or would enter the primaries, I'd eagerly support him or her. If it's Bernie versus Trump, the time will be perfect for the emergence of a strong third party. Both men are unacceptable as president.
Do I pray for Trump? YES! But I will not vote for him. He's a disgrace to the conservative cause.
I fear too many Christians are misplacing their faith in Trump. We need PRAYER for America, period!
