I heard they weren't baby carrots. I guess that is why they are always pre-cleaned.

The carrots mentioned above are sold frozen in our stores but you can also buy fresh real baby carrots in packages.

As a gardener who has on occasion grown carrots I knew when they first came out that they were not 'baby' carrots but I didn't know what they were because they were so uniform in size.
