I have a weird question about dreams

I had a dream last night where I was walking about my home rebuking demons. I've had these dreams since I was a teenager. The one constant is the struggle to say Jesus's name in my dreams. I croak it out, it is always so hard for my to say it. Obviously, in real life, I have no problem saying His name. What do you think that's all about?

I have them. Do you have a prophetic gifting? Do you enjoy deliverance ministry and relish kicking the darkside's hind end?

No, I really don't. It's mostly a carryover from my teenage years. I was a recipient of deliverance. My Pastor delivered the heck out of me. One issue that that I had some really bad insomnia, I would see screaming faces when I closed my eyes. I was taught to rebuke them so that I could get some sleep. The dreams are not powerful, I am very weak, like I said, I have difficulty getting the words out. I haven't had one of these dreams in a very long time. I guess I'd break down my dreams as I know I have the authority, but I struggle to use it.

It's an attempt to frighten you, and "shut your mouth"

... and if the enemy can keep you from witnessing or saying the name of Jesus, then he has won, because your words have POWER, Sis....

I've had similar dreams in the past - I just don't dwell on them, and I keep on going - The devil IS a liar!!!

I don't let them bother me, I was just curious about why I had such difficulty. I wonder if it has anything to do with my prayers. I've been praying for a friend to go to church with.

In my experience I have trouble doing things in dreams if and when I'm close to waking up and I'm on the borderline towards trying to do that thing in a waking state. Some times I have woken up and found myself finally being able to do that because I'm now awake. So maybe you are taking what happens in the dream so seriously that you try to invoke the name of Jesus as if you are awake or you effectively attempt to wake yourself to where you can do that for real.

Berserk, I can assure you that Firebrand's attitude towards deliverance ministry is in no way cocky.

Could you please quit throwing out accusations like that ? It would seem that you do that merely to see what the reaction to it will be.
