I tend to forget the details and I don't feel like bothering to look them up in this case.

My favorites (based on number of times I've viewed them):
1) Christian-themed: Ben Hur
2) Secular: The Waterboy, Stark Trek - First Contact

Secular- The Lord of The Rings (Trilogy)
Christian- The Passion of The Christ (although from my youth, I have seen "The Ten Commandments" more times than I can count)
.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
(Ephesians 4:17-18)
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
(Psalm 1)

Cardinal TT: "It doesn't matter how anyone justifies people praying to Mary or the saints - what matters is what God says"
That's why it's so sad that you are oblivious to the biblical grounds for the Catholic claim to know "what God says" about this issue!
Cardinal TT: "BTW there is also the testimony of multitudes of former Catholics who no longer pray to Mary who boldly proclaim they were ignorant and deceived and disagree with you in regard to pray offered to anyone apart from God.
By the same token there is also the testimony of many disillusioned evangelicals who leave their churches to find God real in their local Catholic church! This has happened in our town, most notably to the local funeral director.
In any case, wonderful testimony! But you miss the key spiritual point: Catholics pray to Mary and the saints precisely because they want her and the saints to intercede with God to answer their own petitions. So thpugh they refer to Mary as a mediatrix, they really mean her role as a powerful intercessor!
I called Colonel's bluff because he presented himself as an experienced anti-Catholic apologist, and yet, neither he nor any other Pentecostals here knows how Catholics would justify praying to saints from Scripture. That's a sad commentary on what poor interdenominational dialogue partners Pentecostals really are.

My Afghan friend by a supernatural experience saw Mary and she clearly rejected his conversation and she directed him to speak to Jesus
God has confidence revealing this to a totally ignorant Muslim who has no understanding of this issue because his heart is open to the truth and he will obey

I understand ...many friends were raised Catholic and didn't help them when praying to Mary or the saints.
When they accepted, submitted and prayed to Jesus things happened
Catholics may sincerely believe Mary hears their prayer but its not scriptural. In the NT we can only go to God the Father through Jesus Christ his son
Mary is not mentioned anywhere in the NT apart from the gospels and even then Jesus did not elevate her to intercessor.
In fact he treated he like a normal person with no special gift or calling
Yes she is a godly wonderful woman and was blessed to carry Jesus but she is not a intercessor in heaven
God has made a way through Jesus - why would he want us to go another way as its pointless
Heb 7:25 - Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

Mary was simply one of the many believers in the upper room when the Holy Spirit came. She is not given the prominence in the epistles that one would expect is she played ANY role in having prayers answered. All pure superstition. Along with the false notion that she herself was immaculately conceived. If Catholicism arose today for the first time, we would rightly label it a cult based on its many fallacies: venial and mortal sins, infallibility of the pope, the Mass, purgatory, forgiveness of sins by repeating the Rosary X number of times. If you want to read a good history of the church down through the centuries, I highly recommend this one:
