Those are amazing utterances. In years past I held an oppositional stance toward his indulgences but in his later years Clement really had it right. Another one that died before his time.

You know, it's been so long, what was it that turned a few off here about him? I mean I never really followed him so I don't know. I can't remember the conversations about him now.

I know it was Woffie who posted originally about him because he had some large meetings in his church and some prophecies failed and people were affected negatively.
His later prophecies had some amazing accuracy but some of his earlier ones were a mixture and things he said didn't happen and it caused some problems.

I took a interest in what Woffie posted because I saw Kim minister in 1983 & 1984 in my church when I was still a young believer. Kim was the new young breed prophet arising and he definitely had a strong anointing.
He was from South Africa and he came to Australia as his ministry grew.

He was still raw around the edges and there were some things that needed addressing as he went through a crash but dealt with it and God restored him.

He later went to the US and had some powerful meetings which got him much attention.

From his later prophecies he developed a more accurate gift and there was less of man and more of God.
Obviously the later ones about Trump are quite remarkable .

It was sad he passed so early but also to see how much he developed from 1983

He came across as quite pompous in both style and execution. One thing that I remember that we discussed here was his asking followers for money so that he could travel to Israel just to prophecy about Israel, as if he needed to stand in Israel to do that. There were some spectacularly failed prophecies, we discussed his standing on the pulpit and prophecying great ministries over random backsliders.

Definately his flamboyance. I am ok with that aspect if his words are "on". There were two words that had dates attached to them that were given on the Praise The Lord talk show on TBN. Matt Crouch was a big follower of his. This was back in '94ish. He prophesied a death in the Whitehouse in Clinton's early day and Clements giving that word and the other (later word with date) only inspired a hatred and judgement oriented spirit toward DC.

This was in the early-mid 90s which was Clement's rise to high profile. He attended a neighboring church which Woffie was involved with just a few miles from our house. It was about 97 or so Clement returned to that church and the pastor were believing Kim was going to marshall in a great revival that would transform all of Detroit. I went to one of those meetings and was aghast at what I saw. It was an ugly perverted spirit manifesting in people. The entire service was funneled into the offering, lights came up, everybody was whisked out the door. No gospel, no Jesus, a few words given to the front row leadership (maybe Woffie was one of them). That was when I basically turned away from it all. By then I was pastoring a church further to the north. I took my worship leader, he saw the same as I did. Too much of the flesh for me.

Then there was the judgement word Kim gave on TBN during a live service (maybe for New Years Eve) back about '99 and he smashed a wine glass on the platform as a demonstrative sign that many took the force of it to be the proof it was a valid word of God. That one didnt go anywhere if I recall. I dont criticize Kim for that. If one shares an uninspired word it isnt the end-all for me. By then I was just a "bystander" that might happen along when he appeared on TBN.

Sadly, when some get so big they think God would never remove their bad influence from the body of Christ they are greatly mistaken.

How was he going to do that ? Was he an evangelist ? Miracle worker ? How ?

Since the 2014 part seems like a general prophecy I'm concerned that people try to explain Donald Trump and his presidency in light of all the details in the prophecy and then they end up believing things about him that simply aren't true.
