I randomly sing songs that pop in my brain, and a "White Christmas" popped in there the other day. I started singing it, and my 16 year old shut me down with, "too soon Mom....too soon."

If you ever work in retail for a few years and hear Christmas music eight hours a day from Thanksgiving until Christmas, you might think differently. If I EVER hear Burl Ives sing "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas," I may just vomit.

I love the nativities. Especially the small table displays. I dread this Christmas as it is the time of year for memories. But I never get tired of the Bible story.

Believe it or not last December I was at Starbucks doing some work and they played it four times in a row! I almost lost my mind.

What are you a communist or something? Losing your mind listening to Burl Ives? He's an icon!

And don't forget he's the snowman/narrator of the Rudolf special every Christmas!
