    Abundant Living in Chrisst

You can have abundant life in Christ!

Jesus said, "The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life" (NLT).

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (NIV).

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (KJV).

We trust that each of you are experiencing the joy of living for Christ that He promised was available to every believer.

Christ gave us the master key, here, to experiencing the joy of living. But the problem is that many have been deluded by bad theology into thinking that God sends troubles unto them and that bad things happen to them for their good. Be careful what you hear. Be careful where you attend church. It really matters what you listen to.

This verse is key to interpreting and properly understanding both the Bible and life experiences as they occur. Everything that steals, kills, and destroys is the work of the Devil. The Devil is not your friend. He is your enemy. He is not working for God. He is against you!

God directed you to stand against him, not to bow down and yield to him. We are told to submit ourselves to God and to resist the Devil (James 4:7).

This verse is the dividing line. You can use it to tell When God is working and when the Devil is working.

Everything that steal, kills and destroys is from the Thief and the Devil is trying to destroy your confidence in God.

God send good gifts into your life and wants to bless you. Every good gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights (James 1:17).

If the situation or issue is in any way stealing, killing or destroying things in your life ... that may be your health, relationships, prosperity, any number of things...it's authored by our enemy in life, the devil.

God and the Devil have not switched roles. God is still GOOD, and the Devil is still BAD and EVIL. God is your FRIEND, the Devil is your ENEMY.

God tells us to submit to Him and to resist the Devil (James 4:7). That means we welcome what God is doing in our lives and resist what the Devil is doing. So, everything that steals, kills, and destroys, we resist and stand against.

Now understand, everything bad that happens is not a personal attack against you. Some things are the result of the fall, when Adam yielded to the Devil in the Garden of Eden and gave authority in the world over to the Devil.

But the author and cause of evil and calamity is the Devil and not God.

So quit blaming God for the Devil's works!

The Devil is the god of this world (2 Cor.4:4), and he blinds the lost and causes people to distrust God's love and goodness.

"We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one" 1 John 5:19.

Everything that happens is not the work of God and is not to be welcomed and received. We must resist the Devil and all of his works!

This is a key part of experiencing the abundant life that Christ promised was ours to joyfully enjoy.

God has an incredible life in store for you...walk each day with Him and He'll lead the way!
