Try my best BUT I don't criticize my brothers and sisters who don't believe as I do. I don't have time. Been serving my Jesus for over 57 yrs and before that as a child went to Sunday School. I guess, looking back, I always had a hunger for God even as a child back in the mountains. I remember as an 8 yr old seeing this A/G pastor's wife in our living room praising God and I remember the glow of the presence of the Lord on her face and mentally saying, when I get old I want what that woman has. Just a few years later, we moved south and someone from an A/G church invited this 14 year old girl to church. I went before anyone in my immediate family started going. God gloriously baptized me in the Holy Ghost when I was 15. Never been the same. Back then A/G preached it strong. I still love the pastor I had (he is dead and gone) but I remember him and his family so vividly. It is a long story but these are the highlights. My parents and siblings come to know the Lord before they passed. God is faithful - I can vouch for that.

I love our old timers and I know the language they understand
Thank you for this. It was a blessing to read.
One question. You said "back then the AG preached it strong". What did they preach strong that they don't now?

Yep, in agreement bro.
The reports I read said the whistle blower made the complaint based on second hand info not the actual call read out. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Trump or an ally that fed the "whistle blower" bad info about that call. At some point you just have to bring things to a head.

The "whistle blower" literally knows nothing. They have no first hand info as you said. Of course that doesn't matter.

I only went to 2 A/G churches back then - 1960 era. They taught against makeup, shorts, pants on women, bowling, movies, dancing - just to name a few. I had a good foundation.
