    100% - I'm a religious scholar.
Hallelujah! When it comes to hymnal songs, you sure know your stuff. Either you never missed the service or you're probably the head of the choir! You often find yourself humming these songs because they're inspiring, and the tunes are always catchy. The angels above are certainly singing your praises! Well done!

I also made 100% which surprised me. Even though I grew up singing out of a hymnal, some of these must have been sung in mostly mainline denominations, therefore I didn’t recognize some.

There were a couple that were really obscure even for me being in Methodist, Lutheran and Baptist churches... But the title and the language of the verse were helpful to get the right answer on Be Thou My Vision.

Exactly. It was fairly easy to match the lyrics to the titles. My mom was the daughter of a deacon in a “hymns only”Baptist Church, but I was raised Pentecostal. We sung songs like “Power in the Blood”, “when we all get to heaven” , lots of fast, upbeat songs

100%! The ones I wasn't quite familiar with I also matched up with the tunes. Imo, there is still a lot to be gleaned from the hymns. There have been nights with insomnia when I took the AoG hymnal into the kitchen and started singing at the beginning and kept on going.
