I'm at my mom's in the U.P.... and it's pretty bright out at 10pm. I'll bet A.J. has an even longer day!

See if I can say this in a short way. lol.

Our house faces east, so the sun sets on the backside. We just had the door put in on the back with a faux door on each side, all 3 mostly window, replacing a big window we had there. This was done March a year ago. Obviously the arc of the sun goes lower on the horizon during the winter. I noticed during the winter as the sun set that a lot of light came through the left panel during the winter as the sun was setting due to how the treeline at the back of our property is. When Spring and Summer came it stopped and we didn't need to close the blinds on that left panel when the sun was setting. I just noticed the past couple of days that the sun is coming through that panel again!!! The sun arc is getting lower!!! That means winter is coming!!! And the days are still getting shorter!!!

Anyway, that wasn't short but you get the idea. Totally not expecting this and hadn't thought about it. What is the point of this post anyway now that I think about it.
