I have found him to be very sound on sorting out church doctrine. His series "The altar for sacred cows" is really good.

His teachings are definitely good. I used some stuff by him on the sovereignty of God for my healing class. He explains well what true sovereignty is, not how it's normally taught.

I love his humble, down to earth country boy style of teaching.

Bro. Wommack is a good bible teacher and a man of God.
I've read a couple of his books (The believer's authority and A better way to pray).
Both books are excellent. I also agree with Andrew that there is no pre-trib rapture.
He's correct as he mentions Christians (in USA) use the Pre-Tribulation rapture as an"escapism" mentality to avoid any future hard times.

I cannot get over how many folks ignore that Jesus said that the great tribulation started around 70 AD.
Matthew 24:21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Jesus was not mistaken, nor was He lying. We now have the advantage of looking at these scriptures alongside world history and can see it all unfolding.
Christians were fed to lions and used as torches by the Romans. Then when the anti-christ (islam) came along millions were killed for their faith, Christians and many others. About 67 million in the first couple hundred years of this false religion.

Thankfully, these days will be shortened according to the very same Jesus!

The middle east was full of civilized nations, many of them Christian. Then islam came along and sent them back into the middle ages. Stripped them of their civilization! Anti-Christ!!!

..."and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God..."(2 Thess 2:3-4).

Little Children, it is the last time: and ye have heard that antichrist shall come..."(1 Jn 2:18).

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and overcome them...)Rev 13:7).

History will repeat itself when the future antichrist, the man of sin comes to power. This evil man will slaughter millions of Christians and others who will refuse to bow the knee to him.

Christians who held to a pre-tribulation rapture will have the opportunity to prove their loyalty to Jesus when they finally realize the pre-trib view was nothing more than a hoax.

'Nevertheless what you have, hold fast until I come. And he who overcomes, and he who keeps my deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations (Rev 2:25-26).

Lets all go out with a shout of victory no matter what the cost. See ya in the millennium!
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

As I was thinking about this topic this weekend it occurred to me to wonder how many fence riders/backsliders are in churches across the nation/world who are thinking in the back of their mind (probably don't even realize it), that they will continue to live with their various pet sins until they see the church raptured, and then become a "tribulation saint".
I don't see any scriptures which back up any "tribulation saint" doctrines which go along with the pre-trib rapture teaching either.
Makes me think about how dangerous this false teaching could actually be.

This also led me to ponder how it was God who closed up the door of the Ark (a type of Christ) and then immediately poured out His wrath.

In other words, we have tribulation, then rapture and then the wrath of God. According to Jesus the great tribulation started around AD 70. That means that we are now waiting for God to say it is time and close the door of the Ark. Only the righteous will be on board, and all others will be destroyed. No tribulation saints in that mix whatsoever.

This means that we should be constantly reminding the saints to examine themselves, as to whether they are actually in the faith or not.

Jesus is our second chance at having eternal life. He is coming one time for His bride.
