Don't Let Me Cross Over
Reminds me of an old Country song by Carl Butler. I like this version much better!

This one takes a poke at the old country standard "Swinging Doors". Great stuff!

Don't need swinging doors, a jukebox or a barstool,
And I don't need no long-neck Lone Stars to get me by,
I don't need your happy hour,
because all my hours are happy,
since I let Jesus, have complete control of my life.......
If I have a habit, it's gonna be Jesus,
and if I have a hang-up, I'm gonna hang on to Him,
If I wanna get high, I'll just pray in the Spirit,
'cause He takes me to heights that I've never ever been,
and He never lets me down.
Those are great lyrics folks! Makes me want to dance a jig when I hear an artist write a twist on an old standard like that.
