It's one thing for Planned Parenthood to say it is pro-choice (even though it really offers only one choice to pregnant mothers). It's another thing for Planned Parenthood to claim to be pro-life. But that's exactly what Planned Parenthood CEO Leana Wen claimed in a recent interview.

Speaking with Interview Magazine, Wen said, "Our nurses and our clinicians are all here because we believe in life. Being pro-choice is being pro-women. It's being pro-family. It's being pro-community. It's being pro-life."

What!? The nation's leading abortion provider believes in life? The organization responsible for terminating the lives of millions of unborn children is "pro-life"?

That would be like the Nazis saying they were "pro-Jewish."

Or American slave traders saying they were "pro-African."

Or segregationists saying they were "pro-equality."

Or drug cartel leaders saying they were "pro-law."

Or Hamas terrorists saying they were "pro-Israel."

Planned Parenthood pro-life?

Pro-Life. Pro-Family.
To call this a poor joke is to insult humor. There is nothing funny or laughable about this statement at all.

Yes — Planned Parenthood is so pro-life that it advocates abortion for any reason, right until the baby is ready to be delivered. So pro-life that its employees are incentivized to generate more abortions. More dead fetuses means more hard cash!

Planned Parenthood is so pro-life that it sells the remains of aborted babies. So pro-life that it opposes bills like the like Born Alive Protection Act, guaranteeing care for a baby who manages to survive an abortion.

To repeat: Planned Parenthood is as pro-life as the Nazis were pro-Jewish.

But Wen didn't only say that Planned Parenthood was pro-life. She also claimed they were "pro-family."

As in, "We are such strong supporters of the family that we advocate killing any unwanted members before they arrive!"

As in, "We are so pro-family that we have helped to reduce the size of families across the nation!"

As in, "We are so devoted to the family that we want to make sure no defective children make it out of the womb, like those with Down Syndrome who would negatively impact blissful family life."

Oh yes, Planned Parenthood is "pro-family"!

Pro-Science.
Planned Parenthood is also supposedly "pro-science."

As reported on LifeSiteNews, Wen "relayed a story about attempting to start a St. Louis chapter of Medical Students for Choice in 2001, and being outraged that it was required to 'provide reproductive options education — meaning that for every pro-reproductive health, pro-science lecture that we gave, we also had to give a lecture on something that was not based on science, or evidence, at all.'"

So, the pro-abortion position is "pro-science." In contrast, the truly pro-life position is "not based on science, or evidence, at all."

Just as the Nazi doctors were pro-science, performing ghastly experiments on their victims to advance the scientific cause, to the point of euthanizing thousands of mental health patients in order to study their brains. Pro-science indeed!

And just think of how Planned Parenthood has advanced the cause of science by providing fresh baby parts for medical research. How noble and progressive!

As for the Wen's claim that all arguments against abortion are unscientific, does she mean the arguments that a baby's heart is beating at 18 days? Or that all its organs are functioning at 8 weeks? Or that it has its unique fingerprints at 9 weeks? Or that it can feel pain at 10 weeks? Or that it can smile at 12 weeks?

Are these the unscientific positions that Planned Parenthood rejects?

A Profitable Business
One thing, though, is for sure. Planned Parenthood is certainly pro-dollar.

As the ACLJ noted in in 2017,

The numbers are shocking.

Earlier this week, Planned Parenthood released its annual report for the 2015-2016 fiscal year after a six month delay. What this report devastatingly confirms is what we have been arguing all along: Planned Parenthood is in the business of abortion, its priority is not in women's health care, and its central focus is padding its bottom line.

Not shocked yet? How about this:

Planned Parenthood's total assets are now a staggering $1.8 billion.

Abortions are up. Profits are up. Taxpayer-funded government bailouts are up. Yet cancer screenings, prenatal services, and other women's health services continue to drop. It's stunning.

The reality is that Planned Parenthood has made multiplied billions of dollars aborting tens of millions of babies. And while it is the ultimate anti-life, anti-family organization, it is certainly a shining model of how to turn the slaughter of the unborn into a highly profitable business.

It is a model of murderous efficiency.
