Thread: Dear President Obama, It's Not a Gun Issue It's a SIN Issue!

I really like this guy:

Amen...the heart that wants to murder will...the weapon they choose is not the issue...
People murder with knives, drugs, poison, suffocation, homemade bombs...if guns were banned we would simply see a change in weaponry.
America is corrupt and neck deep in sin.
And the Lord said the problem is His people..
If MY people who are called by MY name would humble themselves and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways..I WILL hear and HEAL their land..
My prayers of late are focused on that singular passage...

You can kill people one heck of a lot of people one heck of a lot easier with a gun than any of those other things.

Seems pretty crazy to me to say "Oh people have a problem with sin and they want to kill people, so let's give them the easiest possible way of doing it".

Gun issues seem to revolve to a large degree around the specific environment. In the United States the culture is such that imposing strict gun controls everywhere would not make things better. The culture would ensure that things would develop in the wrong direction. This may not at all be the case in a different environment.

Exactly...as has been stated a zillion times...remove the guns from law abiding citizens and the criminals will just have more in their own arsenals...there are many in the US who believe that is more the reason for the push to disarm citizens than any real concern..

Satan wants America brought to her knees and is working every angle to get that done...

At the same time, it could be the perpetuation of the gun culture itself that means that it is impossible for the US to stem the tide of gun related violence. Banning the guns would be placing the cart before the horse or even trying to fly by pulling one's own hair. That's a theory of course, as it is very difficult to tell exactly how this works out. The same can be said about the enormous prison population in the US, which could be related to the same culture.

But it all lands where the video states..America is steeped in divisive manipulation for wealth and power...I don't know but I am guessing it is because of our Republic foundation...so many know that the key to power is to divide and conquer..so our leadership and the media feed the hate..feed the greed...

Whether it's an angry young man filled with rage against Christians or blacks or an angry black man filled with rage against police or the justice system...
ALL this is fed and inflamed by politicians claiming they have the solution so elect them or the media that loves to pick and choose which facts it choses to present or uses inflaming headlines knowing many won't read any further before jumping to their desired conclusion...

In a sense our own liberty is destroying because sin has fertile ground to propagate where there is no restraint..
