So that it means it was all the other junk food I was eating ....it's not fair

Keep that up and it's properly called gluttony. But I suppose that's a sin that Christians cannot commit by eating food, that would make life too hard. Some (I'm not directing this at anyone here) try to even things out by being a glutton most of the time then they occasionally fast for a week or five. That keeps their weight under 400 pounds in addition to making them feel spiritual on average so I guess it's better than simply being a glutton.

    Congrats on the progress!
When the weight loss plateaus I will certainly begin to look at how I'm budgeting the points. Right now, I'm not rocking the boat.

    And, Thank you!!

That's great. You should start thinking about how to stay down there so that it doesn't become just a yo-yo dieting thing.

    Thank you!

That's the whole premise of Weight Watcher's. It's designed to NOT be a diet. I still eat the things I did before, I just make better choices.

i.e. last night I went to the Mayflower seafood restaurant. I used to order fried shrimp. The portion they give you is enormous, so I always took home leftovers. Besides the fact that I didn't normally eat it all, I looked up how many points it would have been, and just for the portion I would have eaten, it would have been close to 20 points. I only have 23 per day, so I made the decision not to eat that, but to eat broiled scallops instead. They were delicious, and I was happy. Could I have eaten the fried shrimp? Absolutely....nothing is off limits in this real life way of looking at food. I just didn't WANT to eat the fried shrimp.

So, in answer to your statement, each meal I now think about the points, and is it yummy enough for me to budget that into my food calculations for the day? Which means....I make better choices, so yes, I've already started "thinking" about how to keep the weight off.

Thank you! Really, not so hard. Granted, there are days that are harder than others, and on those days I allot for more carbs. I've started eating 2 scrambled eggs with salsa and Fage Non-fat Greek yogurt every morning. I also have coffee mixed with 1/3 of a carton of a premier protein shake (for flavor, not really for the protein) and all that only "costs" me 1 point. So, I'm pretty satisfied!
