-Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) admitted that she believes it is more important to be morally right than to be factually correct.
Ocasio-Cortez has bobbled many policy questions, most of which relate to her plan to pay for expensive socialist policies, though she has tripped up on a few answers relating to other topics including history and the Middle East.
During an interview on “60 Minutes” with Anderson Cooper, Ocasio-Cortez responded to a question about one of the several policy statements she has incorrectly lobbed onto her Twitter feed. Cooper asked her about her tweet regarding Pentagon spending.
As IJR previously reported, the Washington Post gave Ocasio-Cortez “Four Pinocchios” for her misleading statement.
