It didn't take long for the impeachment calls to start coming from the newly sworn-in Democrats in the House of Representatives.

Speaking at a party hosted by liberal group MoveOn.org Thursday night, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) concluded her speech by telling her supporters about a recent conversation with her young son.

"When your son looks at you and says, 'Momma, look! You won! Bullies don't win,' and I said, 'Baby, they don't.' Because we're gonna go in there, we're gonna impeach the motherf----r," Tlaib said, drawing huge cheers.

The remark came hours after Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) re-filed articles of impeachment against Trump. Sherman, Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) and Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) filed articles of impeachment last year.
Earlier in the day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said impeachment is an "open discussion" and the findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller must be weighed.

"We have to wait and see what happens with the Mueller report. We shouldn't be impeaching for a political reason, and we shouldn't avoid impeachment for a political reason. So we'll just have to see how it comes," she told NBC News.

Responding to Tlaib's profane comments Friday on "Fox & Friends," White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders dismissed the idea that Trump would be impeached.

"Look, you're not going to impeach this president when he's had two of the most successful years that any president has had in modern history. The only reason they want to come after this president is because they know that they can't beat him. They can't beat him when it comes to a policy debate, and they're not going to beat him when it comes to 2020. They have no solutions for America," said Sanders, adding that Americans are "sick and tired of playing politics" and want to see Democrats and the White House "get something done."

"They want the economy to grow. They want to continue to see job creation skyrocket. They want to continue to see the judiciary remade, the defeat of ISIS. They want our borders closed and protected. They want these individuals to actually come to help the president, not to fight him. That's not what America's looking for," she said.
