    My favourite pie is rhubarb. But picking from the 4 there, I’d go for pumpkin first.

    We have wild berries here called Saskatoons. They look very much like blueberries but grow on taller bushes. They’re brighter purple and a little stronger flavour. That’s our “go-to” over blueberry. Sometimes to make my saskatoons go farther, I’ll mix half and half blueberry and Saskatoon ... makes a really lovely flavoured pie or crisp.
