Thread: Quilting anyone?

Very cool. She made quite a few quilts in her time. I think it's great the way her family honored her craft.

Here is a recent lap quilt top I just finished. It's a dark blue not black. I think it turned out pretty good. Very happy with it.

Since the first case of Covid-19 here in Albania we can not have any meetings anymore or visit the home with the handikapped kids. And now in July-August there is anyway no programm because of the heat. So what do I do?
My team leader suggested that I sew a quilt for each of the 33 children in the Institution.
I love it, but it is quit challenging because
    - I want 33 diff quilts
    - balance the costs
    - find quick patterns
    - limitation on fabric shops(most shops have fabric for clothes and curtain, but little cotton)
    - etc

so far 8 are finished and 10 are partly done
I will try to figure how to get pics from phone to forum

Can't wait to see them! You could always change the colors to make each quilt appear different. Same block, different look. Color placement can do wonders to any block. Love it!
