I fully understand your point. We want to be careful not to make every act of Trump a "prophetic fulfillment". I saw something on FB yesterday where someone was trying to find a "prophetic fulfillment" in Trump's latest supreme court pick. Maybe there is but, like you, I don't want to go overboard in seeing everything in that manner.

On the other hand, we must remember that there is an unseen battle being waged in the spirit realm and a lot of what happens in DC - good or bad - is either the result of God's people praying and interceding or a lack and neglect of prayer. In that sense there is a need to "spiritualize" a lot of political events.

We should rejoice in righteous leadership but take the opportunity to do the work that the open doors have afforded us. Liberty is knocking!
Perhaps there was something in the video you heard that I have not had a chance to hear so I cannot judge your statement about "threats" on that merit. If the video went too far in condemning people for not taking a certain political position I will find out later when/if I get more time to watch them.

However, while we do not threaten the lost we certainly are to warn them of the danger they are in by rejecting Christ. We also warn "believers" of the dangers of rebelling against God. God certainly is not on a power trip and only wants the best for us, and therefore, He does not threaten. But God also knows that He cannot protect people when they step outside of His umbrella of protection and therefore raises up prophets to warn about the consequences of rebelling against Him and His plan which causes people to open the door for Satan to destroy them.

There was collective voluntary ignorance in regards to the deep state for decades. Trump is like a kid in a candy store, he can't really break anything because everything was found in tatters.
The only purpose that Obama served, in my opinion, was to show how oppressed the people of God will become when an ungodly leader is in office. Perhaps that was God's plan in allowing Obama to be elected (as in, He did not use His divine power and influence to intervene to prevent Obama's election). The fact that Obama's opponents were not good choices themselves perhaps strengthens this point. But, I am far from believing that God personally and divinely appointed President Obama.

In the case of Obama, He permitted the USA to have the president it wanted and deserved since most in the USA did not want God and Christians had become downright lazy in our praying and sharing of the gospel. But personally, I cannot see God as appointing this advocate for the murder of innocent unborn children and sexual perversion anymore than I can see God having appointed Hitler, Mussolini, or any other dictator.

God Himself has established government, but not always those leading the government.

We actually agree on the main points, I was expressing myself in a less nuanced way so it may seem as if I'm ignoring the battle in the heavenlies but I'm not. We have never in our life times been presented with a better season to walk out our callings, I am encouraging others to get busy before the door shuts. Trump just needs our support, in prayer and at the polls, I trust he will stay on track, no need to over-spiritualize everything that happens in DC. God is in charge.

Obama.. could have been a judgment of sorts for wrecking other nations. Leadership is God ordained, even if the guys name happens to be Hussein or Quadafi. I always believed we had a harvest coming from all that Middle East mayhem we created, untold misery for millions, hopefully Obama was it. He certainly came close to wiping us out. Hillary would have been the nail in the coffin.

As far as the Trump thing goes, we need to not cross the line into worship. The truth is, Trump is in that office because the PEOPLE hired him to do that job.

What really happened here is that our nation sunk so low that when someone with a decent set of standards shows up we call it a "miracle".
Not sure where you are getting "spiritual death threats" from in that video . In fact I strongly suspect that you didn't listen to the video at all based on your comments

Also perplexed about your "crossing the line into worship" quip . Here we re minimizing Trumps role in the whole matter and highlighting Gods role but yet you are insinuating idolatry ?

Help me out here. Isn't it those who minimize Gods role that are flirting with idolatry elevating the "people's will" over God's intervention

In any case mr Thompson has always made clear that the whole purpose in God raising up Trump is to set the stage for revival so yeah God is looking to save folks not kill them

The spiritual threats are to established political movements and voices who routinely are Aligned against Trump .

For instance believe he said one time that liberal news organizations like CNN may ultimately go out of business and as you can see the swamp creatures are being exposed for the liars they are

I agree we are on the verge of a great awakening and that the domestic enemies that have been parked in DC are being exposed and will ultimately be punished/removed. Clearly, the Lord has confounded the plans of the wicked, no doubt about that.

All that I was trying to say is "balance". I did skim the videos so maybe I am over reacting but I'm mindful of how Bush/Rove/Neocons sucked the church into their schemes. Bush, from a policy stand point was probably the worst President in modern history but he was afforded the same type of spiritual hyperbole. He was widely touted as "Gods man" but was a total disaster. The church is very good at tipping over into excess, we must remain vigilant.

It is interesting....I have asked sincerely and there seems to be a consistent underlying factor....his personality...his unwillingness to speak PC....because when one discusses ISSUES such as abortion, tariff negotiation, even attempting to bring peace where the nuclear threats exists...I find it really hard to get them to lay the venom aside for a heart to heart...it's like they have a wall up....I saw the same thing with President Obama, dear Christian friends refused to even discuss issues because their support was sealed no matter what...when it comes to President Trump it seems that same anti Trump no matter what....it's cultish....
