I currently teach at 3 different community colleges, and discussing your faith, whether it be Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, or Shrub worshipping will get you a quick eviction notice.

I can see every work situation is different. I primarily work in an office/lab environment and there are "free time" opportunities that God can use to talk to people.

Of course we avoid the obvious nono's. I primarily have used lunchtimes to take someone out to lunch and talk about spiritual things.

I have prayed that God show me people to minister to, that they would ASK ME about it. IOW, I am just "answering their questions."
If its a God thing, it will "flow", we don't need to be caught up in a stressful "gotta witness to somebody" mentality. It will be a good experience.

1 - I took out one associate for lunch about once a month, because he was interested, but had about ten years worth of questions. He finally came to the Lord in year 11, PTL.
2 - There's opportunities at the lunch table to tell people what YOU believe. I determined if people can talk about THEIR philosophy of life, so can I :). People KNEW of my faith, and BECAUSE of that, sometimes a person would seek me out late eve in the lab, and say something like, "I know you are a Christian, and I want to tell you about a problem - can you pray for me?"

Where I am now, the believers there are all beaten down and in no shape to bring Kingdom dominion to the place. My main chore has been to try and encourage them to get boosted in their faith, and be a praiser, not a complainer.
