Do you have to be so cryptic? Just tell us what happened to him. I hate these kinds of posts, especially on fb.

It's been a story within a story. If it wasn't for a solid word of the Lord from a reliable prophetic type, that I was going through a test, I'd wonder just WHAT is going on.

3 weeks ago my wife began suffering debilitating sciatica terribly but wouldn't cancel our UP vacation. So, all of the setups and packups fell to me...fine. That meant 8 in 10 days. In our first campground (we did 4) she was a 10 on the hurt meter. Ugh. Then I had an attack of the floaters where my right eye was blurry and squigglies having their way. Then I was hit with asthma out of the blue. Forget fishing, not even a bite in 4 separate locations. So we decided to pack up 3 days early and head home because my wife's court duties went off the hook.

We were both exhausted upon arrival and I tried to unpack best I could. Time to sleep. At 3:30am something went "plop" atop the covers on my leg. Instinctively I grabbed it and bounced it off a nearby wall. Whatever it was, it bit my fingertip. I got out of bed to find the critter and it was flying around the room. No matter, will deal with it later. There was no blood but the wound site felt tingly. Michigan has a bat/rabies ratio of 1 in 3. Bats and dogs are the two main complaints and cases in our state.

I headed to the clinic downtown, she gave me a tetanus shot and sent me to ER. There, one shot at the wound site...except she couldn't see any wound so put that injection in my arm. Then she split up the huge amount of serum into 2 shots, one in each hip. I got home and pretty much shaking my head in complete exhaustion. That is the first of four treatments for rabies.

Then, the brakes went out on the truck. Pads and rotors, I did the work yesterday. My wife came back from court and said the brakes are grinding on the Cherokee. Pffft. Did pads and rotors today.

    Yeah, it's been a crazy 3 weeks.

And the hits keep coming. Yesterday in church after ministering in our prayer session I sat down and leaned back...and immediately knew something was on me. When I got home I peeled my shirt off and Vicki almost freaked.

You are looking at a fully engorged dog tick. Not sure where it came from. I named it Satan since he is the only one that dares to bother me under the Anointing.

My wife is a gem. She went right into action. Doc wrote me a scrip and said all will be fine.

    Dude...just dude.

I have had a couple of things happen to my over the past few weeks. On our way back from FL at the end of May, we stopped to eat. My wife's sister went with is who has gotten ALS not too long after she got vaccinated, and I picked her up out of the front seat to put in her wheelchair. So she's in the chair, and i'm standing in front of her and the open door at my back, and i went to move and the chair was so close I got my left foot caught in the right wheel and just fell straight down to the left on my left side. My wife immediately started to pick me up, and I said hold on, just let me recover (I'm not a small dude). Then some guy eating outside runs up and I saw nobody was going ot let me lie there so I let them pick me up. lol.

Scratched my left lower leg, left forearm, and had bruises on the side of my thigh. Thank the Lord for protecting me. Would have been horrible if I had broken my hip.

Then two Saturdays ago I was cutting the back yard, and all of a sudden the top of my left foot was stinging. To make a long story short I had run over an in-ground yellow jacket's nest. All of a sudden I could feel a few more and they started swarming me. I ran back to the house and thankfully my wife heard me yelling and she opened the deck door and I pulled my shorts off and ran inside. I was stung 7 times. 2 on the top of my left foot; one on the back of my foot; one on my left calf; one on the back of my left thigh; and one on the bottom of my left forearm; and one the back of the right side of my head behind the ear. Lori put some baking powder (or soda) mixed with water on them. A little later it was hurting BAD. I took some ibuprofen and it knocked the pain down to tolerable.

So a little later, my phone is still in my pocket in my shorts out on the deck, and I ask her to get my phone. She goes to pick up my shorts and one flies out and stings her on her left arm! Anyway got out there an poured poison down the hole and they're dead now. Didn't finish cutting the grass until a couple of days later.

So I feel your pain, not just as many times. lol.
