You know that looks so nice. I wish I enjoyed camping. But I just have no desire to do it whatsoever. lol.

RV's are a whole different level of "camping". I have no desire to backpack anymore so I can relate to you in that.

Yesterday my wife wanted to pull up camp and head out of the Pigeon River Country wilderness area. Presently at Clear Lake State Park. After 3 days in remote solitude and beauty, she-who-is-impulsive trades the quiet for noisy humanity. We now have neighbors (more like roommates), dogs, kids...but it's still a nice place to be. The lake is chrystal clear and has an aquamarine color glowing through the day. Fishing is good for bass, pike and splake.

A wild bear does indeed poop in the woods.

So we pulled in at the more secluded Tomahawk Lake sfcg and settled in at a choice site. We have been visited by the resident chipmunks and I prepared ahead of time with a bag of Planter's peanuts. These critters are well trained. When the handful of peanuts disappeared they proceeded to come up my bare leg and sit on my lap. While they had my attention a huge splash not 10ft offshore, a juvenile Bald Eagle swooped down to snatch a fish. Wowzer. I'll post a vid of the chippers later.
