Here is a word for you, Ezekiel 33.

Acts 9:31 Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.

The Greek word translated as "comfort" is paraklesis. I'm going to include its various meanings :

    I) a calling near, summons (esp. for help)
    II ) importation, supplication, entreaty
    III ) exhortation, admonition, encouragement
IV) consolation, comfort, solace; that which affords comfort or refreshment
    V) persuasive discourse, stirring address
    a) instructive, admonitory, conciliatory, powerful hortatory discourse

The Spirit knows how to minister to people hearts...human reasoning is likely to just get in the way...so the bottom line is, let the Spirit say and do what HE is saying and doing...sometimes He may cut to the quick and at others He may trim a little here and there...sometimes He may kick in the front door and others He may sneak in the back...the bottom line is HE alone knows the best way...

For me, timely in that we are bringing something new and vibrant. The struggle as discussed in the video is real no matter what is on the church sign. It is a human dynamic of the Adamic nature. God sends me to broken, troubled churches, none of them have been easy. The difference this time is when I hear from key people that they are excited and really like the direction we are heading. None of this was in my plans, agenda or wildest imagination. This is God. So, time will tell. My approach has been altared over the years and my wife and I have a much more patient approach. Yet, there is something in this where wisdom and anointing has made for this scenario to occur. The Lord gave me specific orders to let the Holy Spirit move through me without my drawing much attention to things Pentecostal. As in what Hagen wrote in “Understanding The Anointing” I want people to see the value of the Baptism rather than promoting and advertising as such. How are things going so far? Pretty amazing really. God has called this dance and I let him lead in every aspect. I have nothing to fear and lose. My kids are fetched up, we still have our house and I’m 60yrs old and done playing christo/politico games.
