Weren't we told the caravan was disbanned?

MEXICALI, Mexico — The caravan of weary migrants that the Trump administration has called a threat to the sovereignty and security of the United States began to arrive on the northern border of Mexico on Tuesday, a month after the group started its journey at the country's southern border with Guatemala.
Two buses carrying about 130 migrants, most of them women and children, arrived at a migrant shelter in Mexicali, a border city, and were welcomed by volunteers and government officials who provided them with sandwiches, water, medical care and worn mattresses to rest on.

    The organizers ...

For more than fifteen years, members of Pueblo Sin Fronteras have been reaching out to the most vulnerable immigrants in the United States and to migrants and refugees on the move.

We are a collective of friends who decided to be in permanent solidarity with displaced peoples.

We accompany migrants and refugees in their journey of hope, and together demand our human rights.

We provide humanitarian aid to migrants and refugees on the move.

    Our Dream

Our dream is to build solidarity bridges among peoples and turndown border walls imposed by greed.

Mexico allowed them into their country. They should have to keep them. Their crooked government needs to close their southern border. The president says that this will probably be a part of the new NAFTA agreement.

I think we need to shut off any new immigration into the U.S. for 5-10 years and get things re-situated in regards to our immigration system and our border control.

One of the things that needs to be implemented is the vetting process. Those who want to come and make a better life for themselves are welcomed, those who want to come here and change OUR nation need to stay where they are if their ways are so great. That particularly applies to folks who desire to bring sharia law into their new country of residence.

It is amazing, all the hoopala when the president referred to certain ****hole countries, when the fact is, if they were not ****hole countries, then their people would not want to flee from their own birth nation and live elsewhere.

You can see the model they are working out by looking at Europe. Massive, unfettered immigration designed to dilute the heritage and character of a country.

The idea is to turn US into a ****hole country.

President Donald Trump on Thursday celebrated the move by Mexican authorities this week to break up a large group of migrants making their way north toward the U.S., claiming credit for a reduction in illegal border crossings while insisting that such crossings remain too frequent.
“The Caravan is largely broken up thanks to the strong immigration laws of Mexico and their willingness to use them so as not to cause a giant scene at our Border,” the president wrote online. “Because of the Trump Administrations actions, Border crossings are at a still UNACCEPTABLE 46 year low. Stop drugs!”

Border security has been an intense focus of the president this week, beginning last Sunday when he posted a series of tweets on the subject. Trump also announced earlier this week that he would deploy U.S. troops along the Mexican border, a step that both of his immediate predecessors took at different points in their tenures as well, until his promised border wall is completed.

I think we need to get that wall built. And in areas where the wall wouldn't work, we should move military bases, using those areas as bombing/shooting ranges. Then, we should establish one air corridor between Mexico and the US. Any aircraft attempting to enter into the US through any other airspace would be engaged by the military and forced to turn or burn.

We need to get drastic if we are ever going to shut down the drug trafficking. The Mexican government has been corrupt for probably centuries. They don't control their own country, the cartels do.
