Yes, I watch Hawaii Life, Log Cabin Hunting, Living Alaska, Beachfront Bargain Hunt, etc.
I enjoy watching all of those programs - Especially House Hunters International - It gives an interesting insight into how people in other countries live.
...And don't even get me started on how snobbish, picky and critical the Americans are when they go house hunting in Europe - Some of their comments about the room sizes, appliances, etc. are down right rude.
I find myself saying to the TV: "Did you do ANY research before you decided to move to France? - Yes, their bedrooms are very small, and many of the homes are NOT pet friendly!"

Anyone here watch Maine Cabin Masters? My wife downloaded it to our apple TV. I enjoyed the rustic approach to remodeling.

Haven't heard of that one but you may enjoy this show if you're really rustic...I wouldn't mind living in a tree in some of the stuff they build:

I absolutely adore the one called the Magical Maine Getaway - What a gorgeous "summer/vacation" home! - If they add a bit more storage (cabinets in the kitchen) and counter space, I could see myself living in this one all year round...
... Although it looks like the roads could be a little sketchy during the winter - if you don't have to do a lot of driving back and forth in the snow and ice, it would be perfect.

I've been doing the DIY stuff this week. New 'Feature Wall', refurbish/repaint an odd table I built for my wife about 20 years ago, cleaned and painted the patio bar and don't forget washing the dog. Thats a serious DIY project all by itself. Lucy the dog is soft and fluffy now which seems to irritate her since she considers herself to be a hero/guard dog, not some fluffy little thing.
