KJV 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
NLT 7 But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you.

The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus was necessary, but was not the culmination of God’s plan. God’s real purpose was for the saved to be filled and serve Him as living witnesses clothed with power from on high, going forth with the words of life, making disciples, and teaching them to receive that same power to reach others, … and on and on and on …..
