How will Democracy work when the next generation runs the government?

Something I have been thinking about lately when pondering all the chaos happening on our college campuses these days.

The "Snowflake generation" that shuts out and even violently protests whenever someone who thinks differently than them comes to speak at their college. (Ben Shapiro is a good example. Whenever he shows up, the snowflakes melt and whine and throw violent temper tantrums.)

When a congressman or senator brings in a bill, both sides debate it until an agreement is reached, or sometimes not reached and they have to scrap it.
But now, we have a generation who has not learned how to properly express themselves through debate. They are not able to support their position in a positive or convincing manner, and they are not able to present reasonable arguments as to why the other side is wrong. All they can seem to do is throw baby fits. And lately, we can even see this happening within the democratic party of our government. What will happen when congress and the senate are filled with a generation who acts just like them?

While there are a few conservatives among the college masses, there are an overwhelming number who cannot think for themselves and have had their minds poisoned by liberal professors who have aligned themselves with the leftist population of America. Not only are they unable to think for themselves, they are also unable to express themselves in an intelligent and meaningful way.

We can only pray that God brings revival to His church, and then that it spreads into our nation. He is our only hope. Unless the snowflake generation have a genuine encounter with the living God, and become new creations in Christ, with a renewed mind, democracy will crumble in America.
When democracy crumbles, we will be facing another civil war.

Time to get on our knees, humble ourselves and start praying for a move of God. First, within the church. The light needs to be Light in order to push away the darkness.

I, personally, think our country will go into socialism. We already have our toes in there. Many, even most, young people think it's super..
when we see what the media drives, and how easily uneducated, or rather selectively educated, people are manipulated..

also, we've read the end of the Book and know things are going to get very, very not great.

this is when I'm glad I'm old.

A minister whom I respect said that Jesus told him that eventually we would go into socialism. He told him it could be slowed down, but couldn't be stopped.

...and to think, just when the billion or so Chinese have become accustomed to de-facto capitalism, the Chairman will get the (almost) last laugh.

Remember this is a satanic movement, not merely a social one...Satan is rampant and determined .....And the church handed over our kids (generally speaking) decades ago to the government propoganda machine called public school baby sitters....now that some are waking up we have massive brainwashed young adults...

US and socialism ... this gives me a great laugh.
I sadly shows that many have no idea what socialism is.
What makes you connect the US with socalism?

Bernie Sanders is definitely a socialist. The scary part is that his socialism would be way easier to apply in for instance Scandinavia than it would be in the US.

Right...and actually he could've been the democratic candidate for president if the DNC hadn't rigged things (they did get busted for that) to favor Hillary.

Heidi, Bernie had a lot of supporters who were fine with and supported his stances on socialism. Makes you wonder if the election was between Trump and Sanders instead could Sanders have won.

You have to remember, Ben Shapiro IS part of that generation. There are many conservative Millennials like my children, my friend's children. They are silent for the time being, but I don't think they will stay silent.
