Yea dad could have been following with a switch and swatting every few feet....kids are very resilient...there have been a few where the disciplinarian was a fool...like the little girl who died from dehydration ....for stealing a piece of candy!

I read the replies to his post on facebook. It was interesting as always; a car might go out of control and hit him while he is running to school; a dog could run and bite him, and so much more that it seemed like there are many who must have children who have never been outside and played, fallen down or even gotten dirty do what may happen to the child/ren. I think the dad did a great job in making his son run to school, walking would of been great to. I took my sons back to a store by us after their friend showed them how to steal candy bars by sticking them in the free car newspapers. Their friend never got in trouble for anything. My sons had to apologize, give the half eaten candy bars back and my suggestion to the owner was that they come down at 5:30 each morning for a week and have to sweep the lot. He agreed with me. They were 8 and 11.
