If she's a Christian, then she's in more trouble than I thought. At least if she was a heathen, we could say she didn't know any better.

I do not believe that the majority of Americans know what true Christianity is. People who are born in a family will often identify with the family's religion. When I was growing up I always identified as a Baptist. If anyone asked me I would proudly stick my chest out and declare it. I was not born again and was living a very unchristian lifestyle but I was still a hard, dyed-n-the-wool Baptist.
After giving my life to Jesus Christ and studying the Word of God I learned that being a CHRISTIAN required a lot more from me.
