I don't have a issue if people want to accept or reject what Dr. Brown wrote as it's not crucial to sound doctrine.
He is regarded highly and it is interesting that as a Semitic language expert he felt so strongly about it and even said it was blasphemous.

He obviously feels the phrase is far to close to paganism and believers should reject it.

When a word ends with an “i”or “ai” it is almost always means “my”. So, literally, “El Shadai” could very well mean “God (is) my Breast/s”.

That makes sense but doesn't necessarily make it true. But why would it mean "almighty" ?

    A poor translation.

I accept that El Shaddai means, "God Almighty." That does not limit it to only mean one thing. The language is Hebrew and therefore is automatically filled with nuances. El Shaddai is translated as God Almighty and that is valid but may not be either complete or exclusive.
