Who does your taxes?
The reason I am posting this, we used Turbo tax for years. My granddaughter and I were talking and she said several people told her after she filed with TT that credit karma and other filing options gave better returns...I though, 'I doubt that'.
My taxes are simple so I opted to test the theory since I had not yet filed with TT but did know what their final verdict was...
Found out after entering the exact same info in Credit Karma that I had a gain of about $250.00
She had already filed but did a 'test run' with them and the difference for her was almost $800 She is a young single military so that could have sure helped her...
Anyone else have a similar experience?

Not yet...but after reading your post, I might consider doing it next year. (all ready filed) I would be most interested in hearing from others.
Did you notice what tax deduction was different between the two? Or what was different? The tax credits/amounts. that is quite a bit of "extra". I am wondering what is different.

I did not do a line by line comparison but now that you mention it, think I will...get back to you on that...

Hmmmm, I’ll check that next year. Does credit karma offer all the questions for more difficult returns, like stock portfolio or selling a house?

Did you ever do it? What were the results?
