Thank you very much! I know private browsing is there, I just never thought about using it every time I'm online.

Thing is, it's not really about you. Loss of privacy is about power, your acceptance of the surveillance state puts us all at risk. You may think, even rightfully so that you have "nothing to hide" today but you don't make the rules. Tomorrow the rules can (and will) change.
BTW, the "nothing to hide" idea is propagated by google.

Google is to face new investigations in both America and the EU over using hidden computer code to violate iPhone users' privacy settings.
The search giant is alleged to have 'tricked' the web browser in iPhone, iPad and PC into sending information to Google.
The information was used to build up advertising profiles on Google account users, and caused outrage among privacy groups.
Google has faced increasing public hostility over its use of private data this year after its new 'privacy policy' allowed
wholesale sharing of people's information.

The parties are attended, according to Chang’s interview with dozens of participants, by “
powerful first-round investors, well-known entrepreneurs, and top executives.”

Silicon Valley is much like Hollywood, the power players are perverts and degenerates. You want to share your personal life with them?
You believe they won't abuse your data?
Furthermore, these
elite founders, C.E.O.’s, and V.C.’s see themselves as more influential than most hot-**** bankers, actors, and athletes will ever be. “We have more cachet than a random rich dude because we make products that touch a lot of people,” says Founder X. “You make a movie, and people watch it for a weekend. You make a product, and
it touches people’s lives for years.”

Do you really want these people "touching your life"? You really trust them?
